One Year of Revive Our Ocean Greece
It has been a year of events and screenings across islands, cities, and coastal communities throughout Greece, filled with discussions, moving moments, challenges, and, above all, hope for the future.
On October 1st we will gather at the National Museum of Natural History Goulandris with distinguished guests to celebrate the first anniversary of Revive Our Ocean Greece and the final major screening of “Ocean with David Attenborough” in Athens.
The discussion will focus on successful examples of fully protected areas abroad, progress toward the establishment of new National Marine Parks in the South Aegean and the Ionian, their anticipated environmental, social, and economic benefits, and the pivotal role of local communities in their management and effective protection.
