On Thursday 30/5 at 2pm we will help release ‘Zoe’ back to her natural environment in the sea of Agios Prokopios beach, on Naxos, so exciting news!
Zoe is a loggerhead (caretta caretta) sea turtle, who was found last September exchausted and unable to dive, swim and consequentially survive. Thanks to our local partner ‘Naxos Wildlife Society’ and the efforts of the rehabilitation team of the Rescue Center of ‘Archelon’, Zoe has fully recovered and she is now ready to return in action! Zoe will be carrying a GPS transmitter, donated by the CPF, for her protection and scientific purposes.
